With the first quarter of 2008 coming to an end Central Target Corporation (CTC) is please to inform all investors that we are on schedule with projected goals.

Chicago Server

As part of cost effectiveness in order to keep costs for customers lower in areas of utilization the Chicago server has been taken offline. This will effect the backup voice coms that were placed on the server because the server was not being used for any thing else at the time. Presently there is no future plan in place to provide backup voice coms at no addition charge.

Dallas Voice Com Server

From Thursday 12/27 9pm PST until Friday 12/28 10am, your service will be offline while we upgrade the server (box) that your server is hosted on.

We are setting a long window to allow time for our staff to make the necessary upgrades.

Please use the chicago backup server for this time period.

Approaching the year 2008

As we approach the year 2008 Central Target wishes all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

The year 2007 has been a very productive year for Central Target. The Central Target Distribution Division has been brought online and we are presently collecting data from a Reseller that has been put in place in Canada.

This Reseller was put in place for us to be able to test shipping times from our warehouse along with other basic requirements being put in place for our launch of the Central Target Distribution Division in Canada. We worked with the Reseller for the first crafts show to get things going for them and the response to the products is very positive.

Misleading Domain Name Renewal emails

Beware of emails about Domain Name renewal.

Once again we are seeing emails that are asking for you to renew your domain name and these emails are not from us.

Beware of these emails.

There are companies on the internet that send emails to people about Domain Names that are coming up for renewal and the company sending the email is not the company that the email is currently registered with.

Do not risk loosing your Domain Name or paying unrealistic amounts for Domain Name renewal

Change Plan Section - New Design

The Change Plan section in the web hosting Control panel has been re-designed. We have applied a shopping-cart interface in order to present the web hosting plans in a more informative way and let you choose easily the plan that you need.

The link to the Change Plan section is located in the Upgrades menu, on the left hand-side of your web Control panel. The purpose of this section is to allow you to upgrade your current hosting plan to a more resourceful one.

New Upgrade Services

We have the pleasure to inform you that the Add Services section of your Control Panel has been increased in terms of features quantity. Starting from today, you will have the possibility to add more subdomains, mailboxes and e-mail addresses, mailing lists, FTP accounts and cronjobs to your account, should your online presence outgrow the current plan resources.

WHOIS / ID Protect Service Available

We have launched a new service that concerns the security of your domain names. The service is called ID Protect (also known as WHOIS / ID Protect) and is purposed to protect your personal or business information displayed in the WHOIS from spammers, fraudsters and solicitors who use the WHOIS data (e-mail addresses, phone numbers, etc.) illegally. In other words, once the service is activated, the registrar will display fictitious details in the WHOIS, so that the real information will stay hidden, but all the e-mails that are sent to the fictitious e-mail address will be filtered and forwarded to the actual e-mail address set in the WHOIS.

Chicago Server

On Friday August 10 from 10pm until Saturday, August 11th at 10am, our Chicago datacenter will have all power turned off as the facility engineers upgrade the Cooling and Power plants.

We will be shutting down all servers remotely at 9:30pm Central Time, and will restore service by 10am on Saturday AM.

Backup voice coms will not be available during this time.

This is part of normal maintenance procedures.
